  • How do I contact TechKinect?

  • What condition are the items in?
    All devices are classified under 3 categories; New, Excellent and Good. See a detailed description of each type under "Evaluation Scale".
  • How much will it cost to courier my purchase to me?
    Shipping on all purchases over R1000.00 are free when you buy from TechKinect. We book an independent courier - Normally The Courier Guy and arrange door to door delivery. Insurance is not included, and can be arranged on customer's request, for their own account. See our shipping policy for reference.
  • How can I track my order after I bought an item?
    You can track your device, with the waybill number, which the courier company will provide you upon collection of your device. Tracking orders are issued for each delivery or collection, if not made in person. Click here to track your item.
  • How long does shipping take?

  • Which payment method can I use?
    Immediate, bank transfer to our account (EFT) (Note payment must reflect in the account before goods will be released) Cash, when collecting in person from our office in Centurion
  • Why should I buy from TechKinect, instead of some other companies?
    We don't over price our laptops, which means you will get the best value for money deal. Our costing, quality and service outperform the competitors by miles! ​ We don't refurbish laptops. We only buy top quality laptops from the get-go, which are not in need of repairs or replacement parts.
  • Can it be that two exactly the same units are priced differently?
    Yes, although it doesn't happen often, it can. The reason for this is that because our laptops are secondhand, the price we buy at, may differ from one unit to the next.
  • Do all laptops come with an operating system?
    All laptops are supplied with a legal operating system installation. All laptops are freshly loaded and drivers are also updated to ensure the very latest software is on each laptop.
  • Would you be able to source a specific model laptop for me?
    We will try our best! As it is a pre-used market, we do not have a retailer, which we can order stock from. We are dependent on what stock becomes available daily in the market. We aim to please and will send as many units through to you, that match your required criteria.

  • Which devices are TechKinect unlikely to buy?
    We do not purchase damaged, broken, non-working or stolen items.
  • Do I need to send anything else apart from my device or laptop?
    If you still have the original packaging, please send it with your item when you sell to TechKinect. Also include all accessories that originally came with the unit. Please, remove any sim cards or private or privileged information before sending it to us.
  • Which factors are taken into consideration to establish the value of my laptop?
    Apart from the age and model of your device or console, we evaluate using the evaluation scale.
